hi everybody.
this post is about oscar the dog who hangs out at nimby.
sadly sadly after nearly 8 years together, oscar and i must part. i am a single mom of a 2 year old kid and can no longer care for him. plus my kid antagonizes him daily.
oscar needs a new home.
he is the sweetest most loveable loving goofball. a gentle giant. great dane pittbull mix. almost 8 years old. good health and temper. well trained but does beg for food from being spoiled at nimby!! hel oves the albany landfill and hanging out in the shop.
hopefully you are someone i know already, someone related to nimby who oscar would know. looking forward to hearing back.

Fri, February 22, 2008 - 2:56 PMok, i just posted there. thanks for the suggestion. do you have any more? i am really dragging my feet on this. it is so so hard and sad for me to say goodbye to my dog. i don't want to give him up, but just two days ago my son was bit on the face by a less tolerant dog owned by a friend. it was very upsetting. lucky is fine, but oscar needs to go before he finally snaps.

Sat, February 23, 2008 - 10:37 AMwell, i just don't know. i'm just afraid. i love him so much. he needs more than i can give him now that i have a 2.5 year old kid who occupies all my time. oscar is lonely. he needs more attention. he used to run with me when i rode my bike. we can't do that anymore. he needs to be someones best friend again.

Although a dot com domain all the funds they collect from would-be adopters seem to go right back into the organization. Much volunteer input; a good group. I know of them because my SWMBO rescues cocker spaniels (anyone want a wiggler??) and posts them to that group.
